Welcome to my blog! đ
I will confess, I myself have a little health, and a fairly low pain threshold. Even during my childhood, I was causing a lot of trouble to my parents. (Thank you Mom/Dad for your patience and support!).
When I was 4 years old, I found myself in the hospital for chronic urinary tract infections (I was exceptionally excused from napping at school ;). When I was 8 years old, I found myself in the same place again for a hives attack. Then at 17, an appendicitis attack; 19 years old, new chronic urinary tract infections… And it goes on… Thyroid, kidney stones, back and neck pain, burn out… Not to mention the other ailments of daily life, heart pain, difficult menstruation, problems with blood circulation… Yes, sorry I know, it’s not the kind of cv you want to read. ?
For a long time, I didn’t ask myself so many questions about my personal lifestyle. (And it’s not the pace of today’s society that will help…) But by accumulating all these health issues, I ended up wondering, but why? There would be no other means that could help to react better, and even avoid all this?
In the long run, there is always an explanation, but often it comes many years later. Western medicine helps to solve these problems most of the time, but it does not help to prevent them, and avoid the intense and immediate pain that it can bring and their consequences.
I first inquired about my surroundings (my family and friends) about grandma’s advice that could help. I tested them myself and experienced the ones that worked, or not. I also became interested in other people’s problems out of empathy because I know how lonely you feel in these situations. I also consulted different doctors, acupuncturist, physiotherapist, psychologist, chiropractor, nutritionist… I also get trainings from AKEO, where we have access to the knowledge of several doctors and neurologists. All this information shared often confirms to me that not all medicines are, for the most part, contradictory but rather complementary. And so several options are often available to us and should be considered.
And it was when I was talking about it around me that I realized that I wasn’t the only one going through these adventures. Traveling and discovering other cultures also helped me open my mind. I have seen Turkish women, for example, who were very supportive of each other. They do not hesitate to share their little health problems in order to help each other, learn, and find a solution together. In Asia, the health mentality is more about prevention than cure. An empty waiting room is a sign that the doctor has done his job well.
We are not all susceptible to the same pain, but we often find similarities in each other. And sharing them allows you to find valuable tips, which help to relieve pain and especially to avoid it in the future, and be able to live most of the beautiful things in life.
My goal, in this blog, is to share my experiences with you in order to regain well-being. Of course I am not a doctor and so I can only advise you in situations of discomfort. In case of illness, I strongly recommend that you consult your doctor as soon as possible.
As you will have understood, I too take care of myself and I experience what I recommend. So I hope as much, and even more, to help you at the same time.
Take care of yourself! No one will do it better than yourself. For, as my great-grandfather used to say to me: “When health goes, everything is fine!»
“What’s the point of making a better living if it’s not to live it in well-being and in good health?»
